In the second of our parish Stations of the Cross, Marie Rhodes leads reflections written by Sylvia Hunter, especially for women.
The response, during each station, to the phrase “Lord by your cross and resurrection, you have set us free” is:
“You are the Saviour of the World”
Take a few moments, at the end of each station, to pause your video and reflect of Jesus’ sacrifice for you, as a precious daughter who is loved by him.
Lord,
We thank you for the women who journeyed with you to the cross and for all the love they showed towards you, as you struggled on the road to Calvary.
We thank you for all women, today, who turn their eyes to your cross, knowing that you Lord – who suffered so greatly – are with each of them in their suffering and pain.
May we all keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who gave himself, that we might have new life.
AMEN
There will be more Stations of the Cross via live-stream next Friday and a special Stations for Children released on Good Friday.
