How to Have a Happy Death
- In this year of St Joseph, what can the Patron Saint of Dying teach us about how to have a happy death?
- Has the pandemic made us feel more comfortable about living with, and talking about, death, dying and bereavement?
- How do hospices care for people living with life-limiting conditions at home, in a community and in the hospice setting?
- What can we learn from this care if we are accompanying a loved one at home?
These and other questions will be addressed at an online roundtable this Thursday 17 June – to which all are welcome – being offered by the Diocese of Westminster’s Agency for Evangelisation, in collaboration with St Joseph’s Hospice in Hackney, and St Mary’s University in Twickenham. The meeting will begin at 7: 00pm until 8: 30pm and features reflections from Sr Rita Dawson, Edward McGuigan and Professor Julia Riley.
