We hope you’ll find – as you progress through this programme – that the children’s book is a beautiful way of guiding your children through their preparation of the sacrament and your help with covering costs is greatly appreciated.
The suggested donation is £20 to cover the costs of your child’s FHC book and parent’s guide (which are yours to keep), as well as the provision of other resources throughout the programme.
Whilst we would ordinarily collect donations from you at this stage of the programme, we are also acutely aware of the financial pressure that some families are experiencing due to the pandemic and so we will only be actively collecting donations in April, when – hopefully – we are able to meet in person. We will communicate clearly with you as to when we there will be an opportunity to do this. If, however, you do feel able to make a donation earlier than that, then all the details of all the methods of making a donation are listed below.
Please do be aware that none of the catechists involved in your child’s preparation are paid and are volunteering their time to support your children. The part-time Catechetical Co-ordinator’s role is covered by a specific fund and does not come out of any parental monetary donations.
Thank you for your understanding
