On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May, during all Masses at St Joseph and the English Martyrs Church, we will have the opportunity to hear more about the wonderful work of Across – a local organisation which takes people with special care needs on a pilgrimage to Lourdes.
Some of the Across team have just returned from a trip to this beautiful place and would love to tell you a bit more about it, in anticipation of our own parish pilgrimage with Across planned for October 2022.
As a special one-off, they will also be serving donuts after every Mass outside the church. Bacon rolls and hot drinks will also be on offer in the parish hall after the 9:00 and 11:00 am Masses. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet together, which is something we have not been able to do for a long while! Let’s hope we are also blessed with some good weather …
So, do please join us at Mass, on the weekend of 7 and 8 May, to find out more about the amazing work that Across do and to enjoy a few Sunday treats, served up by members of Across, along with the support of some dedicated young people from our confirmation group.
