It is a Catholic tradition to have the graves of loved ones blessed on All Souls’ Day which we celebrate every year on 2 November. We do this to remind ourselves that souls in purgatory need our prayers.
Fr Peter and Fr Antonio will bless the graves at Bishop’s Stortford Cemetery after the morning Mass this Wednesday. They will be there at approximately 10:30 am.
Fr Peter will then go to the cemetery in Much Hadham (by St Thomas, Perry Green) at 12:00 noon.
If you wish a grave to be blessed, please be at the particular cemetery at the times stated above.
