FLAME 2027 is taking place next year on Saturday 6th March 2027 and is taking place at Wembley’s OVO Arena. The theme of FLAME 2027 is “Take Courage”.
FLAME is an event which takes place every two-three years and is the largest gathering of Catholic Young People in the country. It is an initiative of CYMFED – the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation – and is a national youth congress for young people aged 14/15 and above, as well as for university students and young adults.
FLAME’s purpose is to encourage the young people in our church to grow in their Catholic Faith and to experience the wider church in a festival-like atmosphere. Using music and the arts, alongside inspirational speakers and reflective prayer times, FLAME seeks to enthuse young people to develop a deeper connection with God, including reaching out a welcome to those young people who may not be engaged with their faith or who may not even be church-going, by helping them to see a new vision of what a young and vibrant Church can look like and to encourage them to make faith part of their lives. So it really is a festival for all our young people!
The trip is being kindly subsidised and the cost of this day event will be approximately £30 per young person/participant. This will cover your entry ticket and transport to the venue.
