We can find inspiration and blessing as Catholics, too, by tapping into the many excellent podcasts being produced these days by great Catholic organisations and individuals. Throughout 2023, we will be showcasing some of the excellent material out there and will be encouraging you to listen in….
A BEAUTIFUL THING
The first is a brand new podcast from UK-based actress and teacher Angela Ward, who brings both her skill & creativity as an actress—as well as her deep faith—into sharp focus with her offering called “A Beautiful Thing”.
Based on the words of Jesus to Mary of Bethany, when he says that “she has done a beautiful thing for me” (Mark 14: 6), the first series aims to offer a fresh encounter with twelve of the women in Scripture, through a dramatic re-telling of their story, along with some teaching and reflection. The episodes will also include interviews with Christian women today and with Christian artists, who use beauty to share the Gospel.
The launch date for this podcast is Wednesday 4 January 2023 and a new show will then be released every Wednesday.
