On 6 September, we started walking with a group of individuals who want to know more about the Catholic Church. Some are already Christians but from different denominations, while some are currently not Christians. Through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) programme, these searching individuals will learn more about the Catholic faith with the help of our dedicated group of catechists and, should they so discern, they will be received into the Church at the Easter Vigil on 8 April 2023.
To support the programme, we are launching today a special RCIA portal. It provides supporting materials for those participating in the RCIA programme such as videos, readings from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Bible. The portal is also self-contained and can be used for private study. It can be a stepping stone for who are curious about the faith but are not yet ready to formally join the RCIA programme.
