At the Vigil Mass on Saturday, 8 January 2021, we celebrated the Rite of Welcome with this year’s RCIA candidates and catechumens. These men and women will spend the next few months preparing their minds and hearts to join in full communion with our Catholic community.
In a special ceremony at the Easter Vigil on 16 April, the four catechumens will be received into the Catholic Church while the two candidates, who are already baptised Catholics, will be confirmed.
We are so fortunate to welcome these individuals to our parish family, and pray with them and for them as they continue on this journey. Please also pray for their sponsors who will accompany them in their journey, as well as our dedicated group of catechists who so generously give their time and talents to pass on the faith to the candidates and catechumens.
