A Youth Adventure
On Friday 21 October, eight young people from our parish travelled together to the “Big Summit” youth event in London, where we gathered at Westminster Cathedral to listen to inspiring speakers, enjoy prayerful music and experience time with Jesus through Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and through Reconciliation.
Below are some pictures which document our experience. Fr Antonio gave us a blessing as we set off! We managed to nab the front pews in the impressive cathedral, so had a really good close up for all the action. One of the Bishops even came and sat next to us! Hearing people share their stories was particularly inspiring and we left with lots to think about. The brilliant One Hope Project led us in worship and helped to punctuate the evening with prayerful moments. We rounded off the evening with an obligatory visit to McD’s!
