On Saturday 23rd September, the diocese makes their annual pilgrimage to our National Shrine in Walsingham and there will be a youth contingent joining them!
If you are between 16 and 5 years old and would like to join in with this special pilgrimage, then you’d be most welcome. The cost is just £35, which includes a pilgrim contribution and you would be expected to go on the coach, which leaves from Westminster Cathedral early on Saturday morning, at 7am and which will arrive back at the Cathedral in the evening, around 8pm. A long day, for sure, but it would be well worth it – maybe consider bringing a friend?
Reflecting on this year’s theme ‘Mary, Mother of the Home’, we will be exploring the history of Walsingham and the role of Mary as our Mother on our drive to the shrine.
