It’s September and our younger parishioners are making their way back to school again for a new school year. Our thoughts and prayers go especially with those in our community who are starting in a new school for the first time!
Church is also “back”, after so many restrictions brought on by the pandemic. Understandably, you may be cautious about coming back to church, but there is a warm welcome waiting for you and please be assured that we are still doing everything we can to keep the church clean and keep you safe.
Listening to the readings is a really important part of the Mass. Did you know that we have a well-established children’s liturgy page? Updated weekly, it provides resources for both younger and older children to watch, to help them understand the weekly Sunday Gospel. Each one is no more than 15 minutes long, so is a lovely thing to do as a family, either after Mass or sometime during the week. There are also pages of activities to print off and complete. Why not make it a family tradition to do some of this together?
